Great statue of one of the prominent historic figures of this city. Enjoy the beautiful plaza 'Vrijdagsmarkt' and discover the nice bars and restaurants on it.
Don't look at the interior, this is one of the best italian places in ghent! Try the dishes for 2: finger licking good!
DON'T try the takeaway next door. Sit in and try their signature cappuccino with REAL cream, or ask for a coffee with sidedish of cream. Interior unchanged since the 1950s!

Go inside the church, it has an art gallery too. In summer there are concerts, fairs and events on the plaza. Leonard Cohen and Prince once performed here!

A fantastic theater right in the middle of Ghent. They show you the indie stuff you can't see elsewhere. Every once and a while you should go and see a super movie in a super tiny, super cosy room.
