Amaury Van Kenhove: Usually crowded in summer, but try to find yourself a nice place on the grass or sand. Swim, walk, play, rest, you can do it all over here!
Amaury Van Kenhove: Great statue of one of the prominent historic figures of this city. Enjoy the beautiful plaza 'Vrijdagsmarkt' and discover the nice bars and restaurants on it.
Carry It Like Harry: DON'T try the takeaway next door. Sit in and try their signature cappuccino with REAL cream, or ask for a coffee with sidedish of cream. Interior unchanged since the 1950s!
Amaury Van Kenhove: Go inside the church, it has an art gallery too. In summer there are concerts, fairs and events on the plaza. Leonard Cohen and Prince once performed here!

기차역 · Station · 261개의 팁과 리뷰
Andrew Vassallo: Ghent's nicest train station, if you've got the chance you should plant your butt on one of the benches on the square in front of the station and enjoy the view ;)

Ingmar 'Iggy' Baeyens 💥: A fantastic theater right in the middle of Ghent. They show you the indie stuff you can't see elsewhere. Every once and a while you should go and see a super movie in a super tiny, super cosy room.
Jurriaan Persyn: From The Guardian: Newly opened JEF typifies the changes going on in Flemish cooking. Chef Jason Blanckaert abandoned the Michelin-starred cuisine of the chic but classic C-Jean restaurant to open ...
Carry It Like Harry: For the best tasting and best value Ghent specialty, the Gentse Waterzooi have it HERE rather than the restaurants around. Also try their Breydel Ham with signature Gent-mustard sauce.
Jurriaan Persyn: From The Guardian: Housed in a splendid baroque mansion on the Leie river, Temmerman is the town's favourite old-fashioned sweetshop. The shelves are lined with tempting jars of sticky toffees ...
