On the UES, there's no shortage of things to do - whether you're looking to pop into a museum or have a top notch meal at an incredible restaurant. Turn to our list for a fresh take on things to do!
The Corcoran Group: The building itself is the main draw here, but don’t miss the exhibits, which are intellectually challenging and interesting. Closed on Thursdays!
The Corcoran Group: If you decide to go a la carte, try the meyer lemon royale with sea urchin, followed by the slow baked arctic char and if you have room, the warm guanaja chocolate coulant is a must!
The Corcoran Group: The best nights are Sunday and Thursday nights. Get there at 6:30pm and have a bloody Bull while you wait. Bobby is the gate keeper for seating, make him your best friend and he will take care of you.
The Corcoran Group: When shopping here, we always work up quite the appetite and often head to our favorite restaurant, Fred's for a much needed shopping break.
The Corcoran Group: Holy Art Deco – check out that gold leaf ceiling – the atmosphere is unlike anything else in NYC. Enjoyed best with a few friends who love a classic cocktail and pleasant music.
The Corcoran Group: Banana Mille Feuille: This Upper East Side high-end bakery describes this as "a thousand leaves. Puff pastry baked and layered with fresh cream custard and fresh bananas dusted with icing sugar."

The Corcoran Group: The smaller exhibits here create a less overwhelming museum experience. And when you need refreshing, have a burger in the basement at Danny Meyer’s new restaurant Untitled.
The Corcoran Group: A elegant place to have lunch and to “see and be seen.” Definitely go with the Truffle Pizza and the Croque M. Or you can go wrong with the Chilled Seafood Platter.
The Corcoran Group: Pampano’s sister restaurant just up the street on First Avenue, Maya is one of the best modern Mexican restaurants on the East Side. Try any of the ceviches followed by the chili citrus mahi mahi.
The Corcoran Group: We can't come to the UES without stopping by here for a scoop (or two) of the S'moreo ice cream. It ain't cheap, but it's totally worth it.
The Corcoran Group: This iconic bagel joint serves up some of the most fresh and tasty bagels in the city. We love to get an everything bagel right out of the oven with lox spread.
The Corcoran Group: A romantic and intimate setting with an incredible wine list, making it the ultimate date spot. The gnocchi here is to die for! Be sure to also come for brunch and get the Contadina frittata.
The Corcoran Group: Be sure to get the chef's omakase for a taste of everything, which is all super fresh. The highlights for us were the uni and blue crab.
The Corcoran Group: Celebrating the arrival of summer with a limited edition decadent gift box available for 8 or 18 Macaroons. Definitely include the new summer flavor Yuzu Ginger.
The Corcoran Group: One of our favorite spots is the Roman/Greek Sculpture hall – bring your sketchbook, pencils and find a comfortable spot and spend the afternoon sketching away.
The Corcoran Group: Another sushi must in New York City. While very similar to Sushi of Gari’s menu in terms of specialty sushi pieces, the major draw here is that the restaurant is open until 3AM.
The Corcoran Group: A fast food legend in New York City and a great place for a cheap and quick lunch! Our favorites are the Beefinator, the Home Run and the Southern Comfort.
The Corcoran Group: Wander through the rooms like you’re a houseguest while drooling over Mr. Frick’s fine art collection. Be warned, there’s NO PHOTOGRAPHY allowed.
The Corcoran Group: Nestled inside the Neue Gallerie is a little piece of old Vienna. You should wait on line to break the diet with a Wiener Eiskaffee and Apfelstrudel or Sachertorte.
The Corcoran Group: Worth the journey to the Upper East Side for groceries, even if we don't live close by. The quality and variety of products is incredible, and everything is extremely fresh, particularly the fish.
