The Student Center was constructed in 2000 on the site of the former Alumni Hall.
We built it! The library opened in 1992 and was renamed for the Rev. John T. Richardson, C.M., DePaul's ninth president and current chancellor, in 1993.

Named for DePaul's legendary coach, the fitness center opened in 1999. Ray, 85, was on hand to dunk a basketball (with help from a stepladder). One of his players, NBA forward Tyrone Corbin, helped.

In 1986, the former St. Vincent School became home to The Theatre School, itself purchased in 1978 from the Art Institute of Chicago. Won't be there long--new home going up now at Clifton & Fullerton!
The bronze statues in St. Vincent's Circle, dedicated in 1995, were created by Sister Margaret Beaudette, S.C. She also created the relief of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton for the entrance of Seton Hall.
