    I dig this place. Don't leave without trying the apricot & the salmon tapas. Bocadillo & the pantxineta (almond custard dessert) are a great way to start & end too. Ermita wine on tap too = A+

    Owner is very knowledgable regarding basque culture/history so definitely chat him up if you're curious. Any dishes with the words morcilla or brandada is a must try. Fantastic wine list too!

    A tightly seated, very welcoming pintxos (basque tapas) bar with the warmest owner. Bonitos, the recommended cheese (delicious), meatlovers tortilla if they've got it.

    You can't go wrong with anything on the menu so there's nothing I'd recommend. The plates are very small by the way so nine dishes makes a lot of sense for two.

    Conserva (basically, fancy canned food). don't miss the tortilla Española. The bar also pours the largest sherry collection in the city.

    Really, really great value for Basque tapas. The Brandada paté is excellent, be sure to ask for extra bread to polish it off.

    Get the txakoli and sit by the bar for various pintxos. Cafe con leche at the end of the meal is nice

    The servers will point you to great vegan pinchos. Don't miss the heavenly artichoke pate. Its a dream.

    Tortillas de Doble Capa, a sandwich could also be made with a Spanish tortilla, which is basically an egg-and-potato pie.

    Delicious and super authentic. Get the mixed seafood plate. And the pulpo. I've never had octopus so tender.

    The food was not good. We asked what seafood was fresh and the response was "well it's canned so it's all fresh". We tried the mussels anyway...and they were gross. They cut the jamon wrong too.
