- James Bowen8월 13, 2018I would not use this airport again. CBP staff are beyond rude and entitled. They act as if visitors are up to something and woe betide you if you are anything but 100% impressed with their authority.
The airport is really large, but the signage will keep you moving in the right direction without having to stop.- With this new K9 screening procedure, the lines now move VERY fast.
Vino volo at B gates is a nice wine bar. Menu is better than BA lounge.
The Washington Flyer service is quick and easy for taking you to Dulles.

Seats in Terminal B are super comfy to sit in...super UN-comfy to sleep in.

When arriving on an international flight, try to stay at the front of the mobile lounge bus. This will put you in pole position to not have as long a passport line (unless 2 other 747s just unloaded!)

The people mover is faster traveling from A to C&D the train is just so dreadfull!
Andru Mahiga5월 26, 2012Those huge shuttles transporting people in between terminals are pretty awesome. Theyre like a hybrid between a train and a bus.
Get a combo massage at the massage bar near gate B67. 25 minute massage for 39.50.
Lots of walking, but now that they finished the rail connecting gates, it’s better.
The new security lines and train are excellent, very easy to get around!

Samsonite5월 3, 2011Traveling with a furry friend? Dulles International Airport has 5 locations for pet relief. These fun locations have K-9 grass, a white picket fence, and a fake fire hydrant.
If you need to get between A1-A6 and C28, take the peoplemover/shuttle (that says its just for D) rather than the train. Far faster.

Chris Meadors11월 6, 2010Southwest terminal is tricky. It's in "section" 1 of the four in the only departure terminals. Then it's literally on the back of the area facing the tarmacs, behind the other check in desks.
