Worth the wait to sit along the train tracks if you have a little one. My 19 month old thinks this is pretty much the greatest restaurant in the world.

Old fashioned Chinese-American joint, but the food is significantly better than average. Really enjoyed the Mu Hsu Shrimp.
Avoid coming here around the time Universal Studios closes, as it becomes quite the madhouse.
Lots of good options here. I go with Cai for dim sum and Lao Sze Schuan for lunch/dinner, and Bon Chon for wings. But feel free to ignore me and find your own great spots.
The pupusas take a few minutes, but that’s because they’re made to order. The taste is worth the wait; best pupusas I’ve had in Chicago by a long shot.

I'm hopelessly addicted to their strawberry lemonade. It's probably chock full of sugar, but since this place is healthy I have been able to convince myself that it's good for me.

Chocolate and passionfruit is one of life’s most underrated flavor combinations, and the Passionfruit Chocolate Hazelnut Caramel Tart at Lost Larson is proof of that. Absolutely outstanding.

Long wait til your train comes? Grab a coffee and bagel at Steingolds Station or a slice of@pie at First Slice, both just outside the east entrance.
The patio has a nice view of the plaza in front of the Hancock, but why would you want to miss the teppenyaki show?

The Egg on a Roll is the perfect breakfast sandwich, with pastrami replacing the usual breakfast meats. Get that and a matzo ball soup and you’re set for the afternoon.
Leave plenty of time to browse. This place is unlike anywhere I’ve ever been and is an easy way to spend more time than you planned for.
