Johnny Wang: (3/5) Market that has a bakery and diner section, and is well known for their cream cheese blueberry scones. I prefer mine with a bit more crunch, but if you like soft muffins, give them a go!
Johnny Wang: (4.5/5) Local hole-in-the-wall on the outskirts of town, frequented mostly by locals, and serving up Hawaiian comfort food. Be sure to try their kalua pork, lomi salmon, and pipikaula short ribs!
Johnny Wang: (4/5) Casual hole-in-the-wall serving up an extensive selection of quick eats. Opt for the musubi over the omusubi, try any of the unagi or shiso leaf options, and definitely try the ten grain rice.
Johnny Wang: (4/5) Busy little izakaya serving up an extensive menu of tasty eats. Try their tuna carpaccio, jidori chicken yukari, seared otoro don, and uni ikura don!
Johnny Wang: (4/5) Solid brunch joint with a daunting selection of eats, but short waits. Try any of their skillet dishes and the cornflake French toast, if you're craving a little dessert for breakfast.

Johnny Wang: (3/5) Incredibly famous for their malasadas, but apparently the filled ones are not the way to go, as they're a little TOO packed (and hence a little gross). Stick with the standard!
Johnny Wang: (2.5/5) The bakery is right next door to the diner, and is supposed to be known for their poi mochi doughnuts, which I found delightfully chewy, but a little too sweet.
Johnny Wang: (5/5) Upscale restaurant serving up phenomenally tasty Hawaiian/New American eats. Try the tasting menu or order a la carte, with standouts including the beef dishes, scallops, pastas, and more!

Johnny Wang: (5/5) Spacious restaurant serving up tonkatsu served multiple ways, but done perfectly regardless: super crispy, juicy, and somehow, not particularly greasy either. Be prepared for the LONG waits.
Johnny Wang: (3.5/5) Well-known counter shop serving up really finely shaved ice similar to a slushee/snow. Grab a larger size, make sure to get it with ice cream, and throw some syrup and condense milk on there!
