KATIE G: Scenic and easy way to cross the bay from Coronado to Broadway Pier. $5/person one way, cheaper than a ride share and more fun if you enjoy boats.
KATIE G: A cool spot in the otherwise-touristy Gaslamp Quarter. Recharge with a margarita (lots to choose from) and a Cali burrito. Mix & match tacos lets you sample several types if you're indecisive like me.
KATIE G: Excellent steak & seafood classics with a twist. Don't miss the roasted corn with shishito peppers or the popovers with jalapeno jelly butter. Ask for a table by the window for unbeatable bay views.
KATIE G: The Camp Bow Wow team cares for your fur babies like family. Great place for drop-in day care or overnight boarding. Our dogs love it; we know they're safe & secure. They come home good and tired!
KATIE G: This location is either very good or very slow. Depends on the day, and there's no way to predict it. Cashiers are good, but back of house needs to get organized.
KATIE G: Sat at the bar since I was dining alone, and received warm attentive service. They'll make a half & half pizza if you can't decide which one to try, so go ahead and try two!
KATIE G: The OMG 2.0 Burger hits all the right notes: cheesy mushroom sauce, tangy grainy mustard, cool crisp lettuce...all of which are locally-sourced. Don't skip the Whiskey Cake for dessert!
KATIE G: Gets crowded at noon, so they have to stop the ordering line at times until seating becomes available. The food is flavorful and worth the wait. 2 vegans and 1 omnivore all left satisfied.
