Starting from his home, Paul Revere set out on his famous midnight ride in 1775 to warn his compatriots that the British were coming. Built in 1680, it is one of the oldest houses in downtown Boston.
On Nov. 7, 1979, Faneuil Hall was the site of Sen. Edward Kennedy's speech declaring his candidacy for president. On Nov. 3, 2004, Faneuil Hall was the site of Senator John Kerry's concession speech.
At the Old North Church you can view the steeple where the two lanterns were hung that signaled Paul Revere to take his famous ride, and sparked the Revolution.
