Lori Luo: NYC's first Laotian restaurant seems to have missed the mark. Small portions yet hefty prices, and a less-than-spicy range of food leaves the diner wanting.
Lori Luo: One of the forefront Isan Thai restaurants in Manhattan, Somtum Der offers a well-spiced and flavorful array of dishes, including the larb (meat salads), somtum (papaya salads), noodles, and meats.
Lori Luo: A dim, intimate ambiance complete with candlelit tables and live piano music make it the epitomic romantic restaurant. While the food falls short in some areas, the Beef Wellington is worth an order.
Lori Luo: This upscale lounge/bar features a wide selection of cocktails and spirits. If you come here often, buy a bottle and put your name on it; the staff will hold it in the "Bottle Keep" for you.
