Great place to shop for movies & everything. If you want something & you have the money, I'd advise you to get it because it's probably an 85% chance that it won't be there the next time you visit.

Olivia Peters3월 21, 2015I personally do not like this place. They have a lot of books, but never any books that I actually need (such as Of Mice and Men by Steinbeck). The atmosphere is creepy and unsettling as well.
I bought 6 movies. Three of which were brand new and never opened. All for under $20 total! Will definitely be going back for books. Incredible place.
Debbie Wood2월 15, 2019This store use to have great prices on used books and trade in value was great if you returned for credit. Not so much anymore. If you know your title you can usually find it online cheaper. Shame.

The prices seem to have gone up with the move from the old store. When I asked about this the girl laughed at me and said that they were not competing with anyone else and they could charge whatever they wanted to!
Love McKay's but I am getting frustrated with constantly finding used books and movies that are actually more expensive than buying the same item new.
Brian Sheldon2월 13, 2012I went to the Knoxville Mckay last night Sun Feb 13 2012. I got there at 6:30 they closed at 7:00 and they would not let me bring my trades in.The rules are 30 minutes before closing Mckay employees!

You cant sell a used Game of Thrones season 2 for $41.99 when Target has it new for $29.99!
One of my favorite places ever. Cheap books and movies! Check back often. Books go in and out quickly.
