In the morning! Always opt out. TSA has no clue about ANYTHING the body scanners do or don't do- plus, you'll be checked for GPR- how cool is that? And remember- If you see something- Say something.
DO arrive 2 hours before departure time. Make sure all your electronics are charged as any and all outlets are always being used. DON'T expect a quiet experience. Most people are here with kids.
Enjoy the magic of Orlando, Disney or no Disney at the Orlando International Airport. The food court houses a 3,000-gallon aquarium with 100+ sea critters.
Todos aeroportos deveriam ser assim, tudo funciona perfeitamente. Um detalhe interessante é que assim que chegamos minha esposa perdeu o celular, fomos até o Lost and Found e ele já estava lá.
Way to go Orlando airport. Thanks for making us sit on the Tarmac after we've landed for nearly 30 minutes because you don't have staff to open a gate. It's not like the plane is on a clear schedule!
Fastest way through security seems to be the line on the far right next to the Employee/Airline Crews. This gets opened up to everyone in the line next to it frequently.
Best spot to people watch is in Terminal A- The Starbucks next to security has a sculpture called "The Traveler"... Just sit and watch the reactions... :)
The food court in the terminal isn't that bad. They have almost all the major names so it is a great place to satisfy the while family while waiting on a flight.
If you're a non-smoker and are here to enjoy the nightlife, get ready for the largest dose of secondhand smoke you'll ever experience. In less than 30 mins, even your socks will smell like smoke.
If you're flying United, there's no separate bag drop line if you checked in on-line. They're just going to try to scam you into using the skycap service outside. The inside line moves pretty fast.
Lot’s of travelers! There is a mixture of excited children rested and ready to get to Disney confined with exhausted, overstimulated, children who thought they would never have to leave. Chaos!
Love this airport! Maybe I'm just lucky, but I've never waited more than 20 minutes for security, including Xmas eve. Everyone is so polite too! I don't feel quite as violated.
Food options in terminal A are a little limited: burger king, brioche doree, a few things from on the border to go, an Italian joint, and cold stone. More options before you get on the train.
Não tem onde embalar a mala dentro do aeroporto!!!! Recomendo este aqui! Super gentil educado prestativo! Te busca no aeroporto ou vai ao seu hotel #orlando #wrapnfly
Tsa lines are long and may take you about 15mins. However some airlines have priority access which has an expedite line. Although, best is TSA-expedite : zero lines!
Eat before you get here. Most of the restaurants that used to be here have closed. You will spend more time in line for food than for a ride at Disney.
Getting here early will serve you well, and if at all possible get a morning flight, at 5:00am you'll breeze right through clearance making your travel that much more relaxing.
Keeping liquids in checked baggage is always your best bet, but if you aren’t checking luggage, predetermine how much liquid security allows and plan ahead to avoid losing your favorite shampoo!
Issue delayed us by ten minutes waiting for plane door to open, but that meant luggage was arriving on baggage claim right as we showed up. Overall, good!
Have a stroller? Fold it, sling it and walk through the normal lanes. The stroller and wheelchair friendly 'family' lanes will move s.l.o.w.l.y and are to be avoided
If you're renting a car National, Alamo, or Enterprise, pick a car from any of the three. They are all owned by the same company, and are interchangeable. Just let a attendant know what you're doing.
O site interno do aeroporto (via wifi ssid Internet) possui atualização de vôos e portões mais rápido que os anúncios de rádio. Ainda mais que os display de chegadas/partidas ficam nos corredores.
Just tell all those people to get a real job and do away with security altogether and leave us alone, this is America. Homeland Security & TSA is a figment of George "paranoid" Bush's imagination. Jk
Welcome to MCO (pronounced MO-KO)! Enjoy the greater Orlando area and all it has to offer! If you don't enjoy tourists, I suggest you head right back to Des Moines...
