Natalie Booth7월 15, 2013Don't be alarmed if you have to deal with customs in Orlando. Very friendly. You'll have to exit customs, take tram to main terminal, exit, and then go through security again to connect to your gate.
You take a mono rail from all gates to the main terminal. Pick up your bags and ground transportation. Disney World is about a 45 minute drive.
Really gorgeous, clean, and organized airport. Fast and friendly staff and security. Lots of places to eat and shop to kill time. However I feel flights are always delayed here.

Slightly Perfect3월 9, 2016It's a nice airport to fly into. While it's expansive, it doesn't feel "too large." Easily navigable. The Disney products here are expensive, though, but convenient for those last-minute gifts.

There is a mixture of excited children rested and ready to get to Disney confined with exhausted, overstimulated, children who thought they would never have to leave. Chaos!- If you are going to A terminal the elite or A+ security line is on the right side to the right of clear. First line on the left side of the right security lines. It's a bit shorter.
If you travel out of here often, it's totally worth it to join CLEAR (

B-Terminal has great food options. Give yourself plenty of time for security, it takes a while to get through!

The priority security line is tucked away. Make sure to find it if you have status as it will save you so much time. This airport gas the busiest security line II have ever seen in the morning.
Take EVERYTHING out of your pockets going through the scanners. That includes taking off all your jewelry, belt, and footwear. Stop holding up the line cause you can't figure out why you're beeping.

Debbie Craig1월 10, 2013The security lines are rediculous! Speak up out loud if you have a flight to catch. You might get a nice traveler to let you cut in, like me! Guards offer no extra help in speeding up this process.
Great shopping at this airport---Disney, Universal, Kennedy Space Center, etc. and also a nice hotel option right on site (Hyatt).

Dru Dalton5월 17, 2010If you are picking someone up late night, eg midnight, from terminal A, drive up to the "departures". It's dead up there and you can sit and wait in your car w/o getting yelled at every two minutes.

Arrive early! Lines are outrageously long! TSA Pre-check and CLEAR are a must to avoid long wait times.
Eat before you get here. Most of the restaurants that used to be here have closed. You will spend more time in line for food than for a ride at Disney.

If you're flying United, there's no separate bag drop line if you checked in on-line. They're just going to try to scam you into using the skycap service outside. The inside line moves pretty fast.
Easiest and quickest airport security line I've ever been in-very impressed! And you can keep your shoes on now!

Very neat and clean airport with a beautiful lake and lawn view when riding the terminal shuttle. You know you’re on vacation as soon as you land!

Murat3월 26, 2017Very big, gates are separated from the checkin area by a train. Checkin area is a kind of mess, gates area is cool. Give extra time to pass the checkin and security area.
Amazing airport. There is a mexican grill restaurant, a Burguer King, and an italian food restaurant in the Airside 1
Nice Airport. Give yourself sometime the security lines are typically backed up due to stroller and wheelchair checks.
Give yourself double the normal time for security--as a tourist hot-spot, MCO is a nightmare. Lots of passengers with no idea what is going on. Minimal food beyond security, hotel on site.
