Neal5월 8, 2015Got the combo platter. I'd rate 1. Fatty brisket 2. Smoked sausage 3/4 pork or chicken depending on my mood. Try the bacon wrapped jalapeños.
Get the Well-Fed platter with collard greens and share with a friend! I can't even get anything else when I come here. Bacon wrapped jalepenos are awesome when the jalepenos are spicy.
The fatty brisket here is outstanding. I've eaten some world class brisket out in Texas, and Midwood Smokehouse brisket is in the ballpark. Great mac and cheese and whiskey-based cocktails here too.

I always go for the combo platter...brisket, ribs, pulled chicken, and jalapeño sausage...oh and burnt ends...with side of baked beans and hushpuppies...Pig Out!! 😋

Every time I've been here their dinner special has been amazing. And Hub loves the brisket - best we've had since moving out of TX.
Fried pickles, pork bbq, hushpuppies and bacon wrapped jalapeños are standouts, but the NC Barbecue sauce pales in comparison to its SC counterpart.

Matthew Bolling8월 4, 2012Skip the BBQ sauce, the pork is great by itself. Great smoke flavor - you can smell it when you walk in. Not the greatest NC-Style sauce.- Chopped salad is GREAT for the veggie crew! Smoked tomato vin. dressing is delicious.
- Great Cobb salad for the veggies out there and so much goodness fresh made!
