Neil Turner: If you'd rather not pay to go in, or it's closed, go through the passageway at Coffee Yard to see into the main hall through the big glass windows. A fine example of a restored medieval hall.
York Mystery Plays 2012: Rehearsal venue for the York Mystery Plays 2012. See them live in the Museum Gardens in a purpose-built, outdoor auditorium between 2-27 August 2012.www.yorkmysteryplays2012.com
Grace Cariquitan Long: The most fabulous Yorkshire Tea Service I have ever tasted complete with scones, jam and clotted cream served in an elegant silver service. W O W!
Neil Turner: It's not just a fabulous 18th century hotel, it's also a convent and houses a museum, library, shop, café and meeting rooms. Lovely decor inside.
David Smith: Ask for your wine in a plastic glass, take it into the cinena with you, and sit back and enjoy the movie like you were on your sofa at home. Veey civilised.
