Wonderful old building and surroundings, but the beer range (just the standard Fullers set) could be much improved
Favourite Reading pub. Always an amazing six beers on tap, nice cider and a 'gin of the week'. Staff are friendly and helpful.
Downstairs is a gorgeous pub with lovely decor. Upstairs is the restaurant which is also gorgeous and has its own bar away from the melee downstairs. Highly recommended.
Great selection of beers on tap, but gets horrendously noisy when busy - odd acoustics.
Gorgeous burgers, not massive, but perfect 'lunch size'. Very nice with a bottle of Anchor Steam Beer. Fries had a bit too much seasoning for me....
Had the table for 12 at the top of the building for Sunday lunch. Excellent service and lovely food. Highly recommended.
The Thali is a great option for trying a bit of everything. Food is wonderful, and a real change from normal (overly-sweet) Indian sauces.
Gorgeous old British pub transformed into a Madrid-style Spanish eatery. Lovely tapas, good wine selection and great service. Just a stone's throw from King's Cross.
