This shop is iconic to Greenpoint. Honey glazed = all-time fave. Simple; out of this world! can't go wrong w/ any creme filled (especially coconut). Wish donuts came out early in the morning though!
You cannot get better donuts ANYWHERE. Peter Pan has the best donuts I have ever had. Their specialty are old school style, deep fried, glazed cake donuts.
Sometimes the donuts aren't ready until 10am.... 50 min later everything was set right in the world when I ate the honeydonut. Also anything cream filled is A+. Also the BEST linzer cookie in NYC.
Want a variety of donuts? Check out the Peter Pan Donuts and Pastry Shop. Try the sour cream and sugar jelly, white-cream-filled powder, or the blueberry-buttermilk doughnut. The options are endless. 자세히 보기
there are many for all kinds of doughnuts for all eaters (glazed, cream filled, jam filled, cake and yeast doughnuts). i love the classic glazed and their crullers! also, remember to bring cash!
I know the red velvettrain left the station not too long ago—taking with it all the cupcake vending machines, froyo shops, and cronut lines—but the red velvetdoughnut at Peter Pan is timeless.
I just called from London as we wanted to get delivery for our friend and the super helpful owner explained they only accepted cash and couldn't do delivery, but she was so nice!
New Yorkers are passionate about their donuts (second to bagels, of course). This fried-dough mecca in Greenpoint is no frills, offering classic fillings such as egg cream or strawberry jam.
So light and fluffy! And $1.10 a pop! Not a fan of huge dense donuts, so these are the best in my book. I bought a box of 6 to share and I already demolished two.
Most doughnuts are $1. They bring the doughnuts out as they make them, so don't be surprised if you stop in to pick up a dozen at 9 a.m. and all they have are plain glazed. Best time is around noon.
Although they are a donut place, there is definitely more to it: they actually have very tasty bagels 🥯 , both egg & cheese and lox & cream cheese were great!
Got a mixed dozen & ate them all. No regrets. They're all delicious & it's too hard to choose a favorite. Sour cream, wheat, white cream filled, coconut, chocolate volcano cream? How to choose?!
Go early to avoid line or skip it entirely with counter service. Not your typical "fancy" doughnuts like other BK spots. These are classic, and heavy...get the marble crueler.
Eat a Peter Pan donut and you might not be able to stomach a confectionery atrocity at one of the Massachusetts-based, ice cream mutants ever again. Donuts are a dollar and bigger pastries a bit more.
The best donut shop in the city. The sour cream and red velvet are my first choices (only $1.10 ea.). The unglazed crawlers are a fan favorite. Also home to an underrated baconegg & cheesesandwich!
The old-fashioned glazed donuts don't necessarily look like much, but when fresh, their taste and texture are revelatory. Arguably one of NYC's rare $1 must-have food items.
If your close to Peter Pan's, you have to get either a Cream coconut, cream chocolate sprinkles, or of course my favorite... Red velvetcruller. They also have one of the biggest breakfast sandwiches
Get the toasted coconutdonut ($1). A perfectly fluffy yeast doughnut lightly glazed and generously sprinkled with pieces of nutty, toasted coconut shavings. Sweet, messy, and unpretentious." 자세히 보기
" Peter Pan Bakery's Honey-Glazed Doughnut is an unfussy yeast doughnut, with a tender and featherlike crumb, gently fried and minimally sweetened with a light honey glaze." - Serious Eats
