Nathan Wright9월 24, 2017Pippin's is a great little dive bar with no-nonsense (but helpful and attentive) service. A great place to stop in for a cold beer and quick bite if you're exploring downtown Chicago.
My favorite downtown dive! This place has a great mix of people from all over. The Drinks are strong and the staff is great! Just please...don't play Don't Stop Believing on the jukebox....
Affordable cozy bar. Great spot for after work drinks. Lots of regulars. Open till 4am week nights and 5am on the weekends!

Pippin's is the place to be for a true Chicago tavern experience. Very diverse clientele due to location. I have loved Pippin's since I first walked in in 1988.
Between the stuffy, overpayed crowd in the neighborhood there is this great little bar to let loose and enjoy yourself.
Megan Hurt8월 25, 2019Fries!! And cheeseburger. Our waitress brought us another plate of fries after she served the first ones because she said they weren’t warm enough. Needless to say, I did not mind at all.

- Chicago fave b/c of diverse clientele-students, intn'l flight crews, construction workers, millionaires neighbors, tourists-be warned it's a joint- your stool likely to wobble, service inconsistent

Kathryn Freeman9월 26, 2012Oh we used to like pippins. However, they have a very rude staff on nights early in the week. It was worth going even though the bar smells like dirty dirty outhouse until the service also declined.
