Walk right through the restaurant into this semi-secret room & sit on a stool looking out a window. Order a special drink from the menu (not your usual), and sip it slowly
If you like mint ice cream you have to try it here. It tastes like actual mint leaves, not mint extract. Amazing.
It's OK that you've never heard of Il Porto, because it hasn't been around forever. But if you want some of the best pizza NYC has to offer be sure to stop here -- it's cheap.
Love the bourbon milk punch. Usually for brunch but they may make it for you at other times. Goes fast tho!
Supposedly the largest Cathedral in the world, it's one of my favorite places. Go to the Halloween Extravaganza: silent b&w movie, eery organ, procession of ghouls--amazing.
If you're brave, try a cocktail called the Glazed Ham. Bacon infused bourbon, organic maple syrup & pork cracklings (garnish on the rim). My heart seems fine so far.
Go to the Greenmarket on Saturdays and get the mint and maple syrup iced tea from the maple syrup guy.
