Rachel K: Finally a brewery (sort of) on the Westside! LA is so far behind the rest of the country with local beers. But! Get the pretzel with the beer cheese sauce and whole grain mustard.
Rachel K: A surprisingly non-intimidating hot yoga place. The dim lights and the independent timing of the flow with "do it yourself" modifications helps. And that ice cold lavender wet towel at the end....mmm.
Rachel K: Not the most vegetarian-friendly, but there's generally a salad or two + fries + a special appetizer that works. But you come here for the large beer list. Much larger than the Santa Monica location.
Rachel K: Pick up a cheese platter and some deli meats to take with you out to the vineyards. The platter comes with some almonds and pieces of a baguette.
Rachel K: Not the prettiest tasting room, but definitely one of the most educational is all of Paso. The time and attention my wine tasting duo got was fantastic. And wines are good too.
Rachel K: Definitely one of the better wineries in Paso. Focus on Rhone style wines. The tasting room is temporary while they build a better facility, though they've been saying that for 5 years.
Rachel K: So good- the medium, $80 tasting menu was perfect size. They really work with you on allergies and food preferences (vegetarians are no issue). Photo: burleed green apples, radish, yogurt sauce.
