Love the tuna melt w/ cheddar on sourdough bread. Don't sit in the back area (near the bar) if it's getting close to 7pm b/c you'll have to move for the live band/artists at night. Many power outlets.
A G9월 27, 2013Great "work from home" office (free WiFi, ton of outlets, cheap coffee), but sit on those gnarly couches at your own peril -- you're guaranteed to leave smelling like musty hippie armpit c. 1969.
D8월 19, 2013One of the best places in Brooklyn to do work in. Lots of tables, couches, and wifi. The atmosphere is laid back enough that you can stick around here for hours without being weird.

This place is the best. Awesome menu and a wonderful environment to relax and work at the same time. Wonderful background music.

Great place to get some work done. Plenty of power outlets, decent Wi-Fi and great coffee!

The tea lounge has an amazing raga jam session every Thursday night (8:30-11:30)- If wifi isn't working for you, try changing your seat. It comes in stronger in some places than others. Don't be afraid to ask other patrons if they're also having trouble with it.
Great place, but getting a bagel takes forever! Even if it's empty on holiday weekends. Either their toaster is crazy slow or they week-after-week forget they put a bagel in there.
Probably the best chill cafe for writing in NYC. Free wifi. Lots of room. Amazing.
Smoothies are nice; not too thick, not too watery, laid-back joint, Internet is both free and reliable - a rare combination in Brooklyn.- Get an iced tea (ever-changing assortment) and then step over to the bar and order a shot of your favorite liquor. Empty shot into tea. Sweeten to taste. Chill on a comfy chair.

Enjoy this place a lot. Wi-Fi can be a bit slow and dodgy at times. Re-fill price on coffee is inconsistent depending who is working.
