Tons of small portions, we ordered the lamb skewers which were packed with flavor and super tender. The chicken meatballs were also wonderful and I'd suggest getting the green tea doughnut.
Trendy Chinese food by Top Chef Winner Hung Huynh. Get Cinderella Rice, Chinese chicken tacos, Boneless Spare Ribs, and the sushi. Dessert: Coconut cake with Coconut Water Sorbet, and Green Tea Donut
Food speaks for itself. Szechuan chicken, risotto, tuna tartare... All amazing. Seems like the service is still trying to figure it all out. The coconut dessert has made my list of Top 5 best in NYC.
The General is trendy in the best possible way: the glitzy, glass-walled restaurant makes for great people-watching on the Bowery (a true New York pastime) while you snack on sushi and Peking duck.
Really enjoyed this emm spot. Loud, vibrant atmosphere. Pow roll and sticky pork buns were my favorite of the night but leave room for the green tea donut and chocolate trifle... So good !
If u want to have a dessert that's better than a big O.... Order the Green Tea Donut. You will can't help but say mmmm with every bite! And just might be tempted to order another!!!
Top Doughnut on Eater: The bakery menu includes coffee and "pretzel bombs," but mostly focuses on cereal-inspired doughnuts such as cinnamon toast, coco puffs and fruity pebbles.
The DIY Sundae ($18) is a four-tier tower of fixings, ice creams and toppings. It’s quite the production, but the chef’s only instructions are: “Make sure you have fun with it.” 자세히 보기
No matter how much you order, there will be room for The General's Freezer, i.e. platter of frozen pops, coffee ice cream, PB&J ice cream sandwiches, etc.
Best customer service. Didn't like my seat by the window cause rain water was dripping next to me..ricochet into my eye..changed my seat as requested immediately.
Friendly staff & attentive. The Chinese Chicken Tacos are amazing but overpriced for 3 mini tacos at 3/$14. The Hung Fried Rice was good. The Crispy Beef is a favorite but average - good size.
not crazy about the decor, good for groups or work dinners though! the general, mercy, general's beef and broccoli, and green tea doughnut cannot be skipped
