The museum houses the works of the world-famous Danish sculptor Bertel Thorvaldsen. Vibrant colours and grand architecture characterize the building. Located at The Castle Island (Slotsholmen) in the heart of Copenhagen the museum is very close to some of the most popular attractions of the city.
