Close to shops and restaurants. Great for little kids, easy access to rest rooms and they can play in the fountains after being on the beach. Must visit while on HHI!
What can we say, The Tiki Hut is an island tradition. Great for people watching, live music, cold adult beverages, and beach volleyball. My friend from Australia wants to make it his permanent home.
There are two locations, one on HHI and one in Bluffton. If the wait is too long on HHI, take the 20 minute drive to the one in Bluffton. David's Chicken N' Friends is our favorite dish, in a wrap!
Best place to see the sun set on the island. Always crowded in the summer, expect long waits at peak dinner times.
You must have the Beignets, they are crazy good! Laverne, the owner, is a doll. If you are a Georgia Bulldog fan stop here, they are fanatical DAWGS at Kenny B's!
Grab the burger here, you probably want to share it! If you are feeling adventurous and don't have to meet clients after eating the fried bologna sandwich is also a favorite!
Children's museum. Great place for a rainy day with little one's. Best for 8 years old and under.
Not fancy, but good fresh local seafood! Big portions. Long waits in summer at peak lunch hour, get there early to avoid long lines. Good hush puppies too!
If you visit Hilton Head you have to go to Sea Pines and see the light house at Harbour Town and hear Greg Russell sing under the old Oak Tree!
Tuesday nights are fireworks night in the summer months. Also Shannon Tanner performs and he is a must see for the kids too. (8 years and under is really target) Fun, Family night out. Great shopping.
South Beach in Sea Pines offers a variety of activities at the marina including kayaking, jet skiing, paddle boarding and boat hire. Of course The Salty Dog Cafe bar is great for refreshments!
Have dinner here then go next door to Wiseguys for after dinner drinks. Frankie Bones is always good no matter what you order. My favorite is the spinach salad. Yum-O!
A local favorite for ice cream on New Orleans Road...hard to see from street pull into New Orleans Plaza and you will find it!
Go to the Marriott hotel for lunch and enjoy the ocean views. It's not behind the gates so you can get in. The tennis center is also great for those wanting to take a great clinic or private lesson.
I love this place for a quick lunch. Hot, homemade food to go. You cannot beat it. Will be packed at lunchtime but worth the wait.
Come to Hilton Head for one of these sprint distance triathlons. Always fun and competitive and a great excuse to come to the beach for the weekend!
Get moving on Hilton Head Island! We have miles and miles of bike trails around the island and you can ride on our hard-packed sandy beaches too. Great way to explore the island!
Take a "day trip" out of PB. Go paddle boarding on the May River (morning is best) have lunch at Buffalo's and check out The Inn at Palmetto Bluff, it's one of the countries top-ranked get-aways!
