Uber NYC: Formerly Banjo Jim's, and now a fancy cocktail bar, the Wayland does not disappoint with excellent cocktails. They even have some vestiges of the old live music joint in the corner of the bar.

Uber NYC: Dutch Kills is Uber NYC HQ's favorite bar for extremely well-made cocktails after work. A few of our favorites: The Moscow Mule, the michelada, and cider with rye.
Uber NYC: Get a massive pretzel and some beer from Bavaria. Awesome outdoor seating makes this one of our favorite places in Alphabet City when the weather warms up.
Uber NYC: Each entree features iterations on a single ingredient - you had no idea there were so many ways to prepare cauliflower! Added bonus: just about everything on the menu can be prepared vegan.
Uber NYC: Your young trendy east village crowd. Gin covers the bar with gin cocktails on tap, but you can order whiskey and beer if you ask nicely! Try and grab a spot on the stadium seating to overlook the bar
Uber NYC: The best cocktail bar in EV. Decor & atmosphere are phenomenal. Pricey, but worth every penny if you're trying to impress. Try on a weeknight to avoid the wait.
Uber NYC: Upstate has 6 oysters & a beer for $12 on M-F for happy hour. These aren't just Bluepoints, either. Great staff and a solid beer selection. Most importantly, an impressive selection of oysters.
Uber NYC: An East Village institution, you'll often see film shoots at this bar. Lots of inexpensive beers, but you can also class up with your evening with some champagne. A dive bar with Dom P. :)
Uber NYC: Ditch the old eggs benedict and have brunch here instead! For the true Lebanese experience, the labneh and kibbeh are a must. But if you're feeling experimental, the lobster hommus won't let you down.
Uber NYC: Great brunch special in Alphabet City! All you need to know is the Huevos Rancheros. Take a stroll through the community garden across the street after a bloody mary or two.
Uber NYC: If you're rolling with a big group, no better place than The Smith. Top notch food, big space, and super friendly staff. You won't ever see the bottom of your glass!
Uber NYC: Our favorite spot in our old work neighborhood. Feeling sweet? Pancakes. Savory? The Moroccan Scramble. Hungry? The Big Brekkie. You can also get a Grapefruit Margarita at 9am if you need one.
Uber NYC: There is no better lunch spot in Long Island City. We love the daily soup/sandwich combo along with the mac n cheese of the day. Definitely worth the trip out to LIC.
