Been here several times. Love the BBQ (sauce a little heavy on black pepper tho), grilled corn, piggy fries, baked beans with burnt ends. Makes an American in London happy!
Came in for a post theatre snack on a bustling Sat night. Perfect service. Wonderful atmosphere. I ended up getting a full meal -- roasted cod was divine. Not for vegetarians unless you like eggs.
I've been to The Portman seberal times and always had terrific food and nice service. Today's Sunday roast was superb! The gravy... amazing. Paired with a zesty bloody mary. A+
