Mark B: Great, small local deli/coffee shop. Very good breakfast sandwiches and bagels. Owners are nice and appreciative of your business. Good place to support local business.
Mark B: Start your tour of Williamsburg here. Try to get there before 10:30 when they start the "Revolutionary City" with re-enactors outside. Gives glimpse of life in Williamsburg during revolutionary era.
Mark B: Probably 2nd most popular Smithsonian.Free to public, but IMAX costs $12, but significant discount if you get Smithsonian membership which is only $12 for whole family.Check out the Flight Simulators.
Mark B: Great service and food. Next door to Ford's Theater so good stop while waiting for the tour. Also blocks from Smithsonian American Art Museum. Tex BBQ Pork sandwich tasty.

Mark B: Less crowded of Smithsonians, but loaded with great American artists and sculptors. From 1600s to present day. Includes modern works of pop culture art that are eclectic. Great museum!

Mark B: The visitor center movie and cyclorama are awesome. Gives you good start for your auto self guided tour. So much to see throughout the battlefield.
Mark B: Like stepping back in time. Harper's Ferry appears as much as it did back in the days of John Brown. Great historical buildings and exhibits throughout town.

Mark B: Fantastic museum. Free to the public. Lots of oils, water colors and sculptures from lots of the Masters.Great collection in beautiful setting. Can be a maze so definitely take a map or the audio tour

Mark B: Very popular museum that is free to public. One of the busier museums. Definitely recommend the IMAX movies.Get a Smithsonian Membership: family is $12. Gets you discounts in gift shop and IMAX movies
Mark B: This place is awesome turn back in time. Plenty of history to see and interact with. Great tours. Get your tickets online. Two days would give you enough time to spend quality time.
Mark B: The historic settlement is not the reenactment area. It is the actual site where you can see archaeological digs and areas of Jamestown that include the Fort. The museum & visitor center are top notch
Mark B: Always a beautiful historic site. Get your tickets early for tours or try to reserve online ahead of time. You can walk around the outside without a tour but can't go inside. Lots to see.
Mark B: Very popular Diner. Can get real crowded but they cycle through tables fairly quickly. Very friendly and efficient Staff. Can't miss with the omelettes.
Mark B: Beautiful park. Expansive. The car audio tour is very good and you can get the CD in the shop for around $5. Lots of good vantage points from different siege works.
Mark B: Awesome park with lots of roller coasters and other rides. Ticket includes Water Park area. June (mid week) seems to be great time with less crowds. Wait times for rides minimal.
Mark B: Very cool must see. Actual factory tours are no longer available and this is where you can get a more family fun version of it. Make your own candy bars as well as 3 other tours. Great candy shop!
Mark B: Great suites here! Especially for family of 5 which is hard to find. Nicely furnished and a great Lobby area. 8 miles from Hershey Park (easy drive) and they have discounted tickets available.

Mark B: Good, fresh and hot. Had the General Tso's which was a little spicy but good :). Chicken fried rice was well done. Cash only, no credit or debit.
Mark B: Decent Hotel. Great location and very friendly staff. Central City with Metro Subway nearby and within walking distance of the Historical area. Reading Terminal next door, great marketplace!
Mark B: Very eclectic, speak easy feel. Nice establishment with quality fresh food. Caramel latte was excellent and the 12oz was more than enough. The Greek Flipper was tasty...give it a try.
Mark B: Usually a good sized line for this. Get your tickets for Independence Hall first (at the Visitor Ctr) and than check out the Bell. Might time it right to go to Hall afterword for your time slot.
Mark B: Great market. Lots of dining options from BBQ, Chinese, Burgers, to Philly Cheesesteaks. Even have chocolate stalls, fresh fish and farm goods from area Amish. Right next door to Hilton Garden Inn.
Mark B: Must see. 1st Presidential Library built next to where FDR was raised. The home is like a step back in time with all its original furnishings. His resting place is in the Rose Garden.
