Outstanding service, decor and great room for private parties. Wedge salad (Roquefort) good but bleu cheese was heavy; grilled corn (mais) WAY too salty. Shrimp remoulade and desserts were great.

Even though the food is just OK (buff wrap, onion rings), vibe was great with very good prices

I’ve lived here years but this was instantly my favorite bar in NYC. AMAZING cozy little out of the way place, oldest bar in NYC, and garlic shrimp and Mac (and service) were outstanding.
Had the Godfather, the hot pastrami and some lox cream cheese on everything - all great.
If you can handle a wait (40m when only one in restaurant), the gyros are outstanding. Fries with feta were... average.
