Justin Runyon: Built in 1770, The Stag's Head is frequently a film bacdrop as well as an Irish postage stamp. Try the steak and chips.

Justin Runyon: A stand-out pub in a city of great pubs.

Justin Runyon: A country pub in the heart of the city

Justin Runyon: The bar where the Dubliners played in thier early days.

Justin Runyon: A somewhat touristy Temple Bar pub, but decent. American CW types will just enjoy the name.

Justin Runyon: Though in the touristy Temple Bar area, some great music can be found upstairs.
16. Fallon's Pub
Justin Runyon: Good pints since the since the 1690's. Prize fighter Dan Donnelly was a bartender here in 1818. Apparently still popular with locals.
