Manhattan is great for the, er, views of itself. There are many many buildings that have rooftop lounges, bars and/or restaurants. This is a selection of them.

I collect magazines on Art, Architecture & Design, and simply well designed magazines, geek stuff, and occasionally obscure culture magazines (with an eye for premier issues). These are places I look.
