I used to live in London but haven't been back for a visit since March 2011 so some things on this list may have changed up a bit. There are many, many more places I love, but here's a starting point!

"Comfy beds and good customer service but otherwise tries a bit too hard to be hip. Big gym but no cafe (it’s self serve only on that intelligentsia) and NO room service(?!)"
