Huge hall with many statues inside. Main thing is a giant Buddha.
Great experience to observe the tea ceremony. Lady running the show is very kind and friendly.
Not so crowded as all the other attractions in Kyoto. Even though it’s a small city with not many tall buildings it still offers a good view.
The only thing worth seeing here is golden pavilion but the mass of tourists ruins the experience. Be there very early!
This trail really comes alive at night, packed with tourists and shoppers with neon lights glittering on Dotonbori river.
Not so crowded as the rest of observation decks in Osaka and very affordable (700¥) but offers best views so you can relax and enjoy the view. On a clear day it is just breathtaking.
Very nice and clean hostel with top location. Probably best you can get in Osaka. Capsule beds are even little larger than usually in Japan.
Beautiful place but make sure you go here very early. If you get there around 5:00 you will have some time to enjoy. Around 7:00-8:00 hordes of tourists arrive and you experience will be ruined.
The ramen here is just amazing. For 850¥ you get a house special and portions are very big.
Nice view of JR tracks, great for taking pictures of passing trains. You even have a monitor which tells you when the next train is coming.
If you are into trains this is a must go in Kyoto. Opened in 2016 and full of new and old engines plus much more. They also have a train model show (last 16:00) and steam train ride (last 16:00).
