Jesse Johnston: Incredible location on top of a mountain overlooking the city. Time your visit after a rain shower or on a windy afternoon to guarantee a good view, otherwise the smog prevents seeing most anything.

Jesse Johnston: We were lucky to find this place, given that it doesn't typically fall in the standard tourist trap category popular in the area. Very authentic curries and the pad thai comes loaded with chicken. Yum

Jesse Johnston: Large, well-run airport with state-managed taxi service, lots of food options, quick customs officers and a slew of mobile carriers ready to enable your phone with a Thai SIM. New lounge coming soon!

Jesse Johnston: One of the best airport hotels I've stayed at. The rooms are large, feature ice cold air conditioning and the hotel offers a range of food options and an incredible pool and fitness area.

Jesse Johnston: WOW! This facility is easily the best equipped hotel and/or airport gym I've ever seen - enjoy a challenging workout or yoga session, then finish with a swim in their beautiful pool. Too perfect!

Jesse Johnston: Not as authentic as you'd receive in Tokyo proper, however the food here is fresh, of extremely high quality, albeit a bit pricy. Look for the don bowl for a load of salmon and rice on the cheap.

Jesse Johnston: While not as richly featured as SFO, SJC offers ample parking, great central South Bay location and loads of domestic and international flights. When booking, price compare this, SFO and OAK!

Jesse Johnston: Everything about Chat Thai is spot on, from the dish selections, preparation and the prices. The food is authentic, the atmosphere romantic (read: date friendly!), and all the locations are delicious.

Jesse Johnston: The views along the walk are breathtaking, and the local towns have all installed water fountains (for dogs and humans) so you can stay hydrated while out in the sun. Wear sunscreen though!

Jesse Johnston: Chat Thai is consistently incredible regardless of which location you visit (I know because I've eaten at three separate franchises). I highly recommend the spring roll, which is almost a meal itself.

Jesse Johnston: In terms of bars, Quarryman's offers a lot more floor space and seating options, with plenty of natural light and fun touches of Restoration Hardware interior pieces. The wine menu is small though.

Jesse Johnston: Consuming the top three floors of the building marked with the 'Accenture' logo, this is Google's primary SYD office with lots of quirky, local touches.

Jesse Johnston: The club is popping most every night, and they have struck a great balance between their expansive alcohol selection and Japanese-fusion fare. Definitely a lively place for a drink and banter.

Jesse Johnston: One of the (if not THE) best coffee shops in the area, with lots of tasty breakfast fare to match. They offer all sorts of dairy milk alternatives (including almond), and don't rush you out the door.

Jesse Johnston: The crust is handmade to order, and their gluten free pizza is to die for. They didn't bat an eye when I made a bunch of customizations particular to my diet, and the pine nut salad is delicious too!

Jesse Johnston: Two story facility with every piece of fitness equipment under the sun. Awesome cardio machines, full free weight sets and machines, with three or four squat racks. Great cafe too. Worth the price!

Jesse Johnston: The international departure process is incredibly smooth, with less than 5 minutes consumed between border control and airport security. There are plenty of food and shopping options inside as well.

Jesse Johnston: Cute harbour with beautiful views of the Sydney skyline and regular fireworks on Saturday nights.
