Good to know: every exhibition is ticketed separately, and there’s no all-access ticket. Sure, you can pay for every single exhibition, but that'll cost you a pretty penny.
Quite happy we have one of Germany's greatest museums of art in Berlin. World classexhibitions in a sophisticated building with a legendary inner-hall that is a challenge to fill for every artist!
Best collection of modern art in Berlin, well curated too. I came around when they were showing Hockey's panorama paintings, the watercolor painting was impressive, I can see Van Gogh influence in him
Outstanding David Bowie exhibition (20.5.14-10.8.14) Be amazed by his thoughts behind the creation of his music, ideals and expression through fashion. You would definitely want to come again. 15€ fee
The David Bowie exhibition was extended till August 20. Get a ticket online beforehand to avoid waiting in line to get in. Plan to be spending at least 2 hours for the exhibition itself. It's glorious
I want to like this place, but a museum where photography is forbidden and staff is policing on every corner makes up for a really weird experience for me.
The rude service at the cafe severely challenges ones effort to enjoy this orherwise interesting museum. Have coffee and cakes before or after the visit!

An impressive building, but the 2016 Nature and Politics exhibition was very disappointing. This museum is far too expensive for the ambition of the exhibitions and should have a combined ticket.
Too bad you have to pay for each exhibition seperately, this was unclear and the grumpy receptionist couldn't be bothered to explain. Nonetheless amazing exhibitions!
Gropius & Schmieden designed the building as an arts & crafts museum (opened 1881). After being damaged 1945,it wasn’t until 1966 that it was classified as a historical monument.Reconstruction began in 1978.Since than it has become one of the most famous & most beautiful exhibition halls in Germany.
