Good NE clam chowda, cole slaw, & lobsta roll: 1/4 or 1/2 lb whole, fresh lobsta meat. Stars: scallops (brushed w/ wine b4 fryin) & lobster stew (watery version of lobster bisque w/ chunks of lobsta).
Best damn dogs in New England. Ask for your dogs done "Flo's Way" - with barbecue sauce, mayo and celery salt.

Located in Perkins Cove w/ lovely views. OK Dry, low-fat Cole Slaw w/o mayo or too much vinegar. Didnโt get a chance to try their talked-about potato salad but Corn (from FL) on the Cob was good.
Great fresh baked goods. Loved the blueberry muffin and strawberry scone. Lots of fresh fruit.

Nice outdoor seating on patio to the right of shop, great coffee and pastries. Refrigerated sandwiches aren't the best but a decent snack if you're in a hurry. Overall, awesome spot for coffee in OGT

Famous fried "whole-belly" clams, fries, & perfectly boiled-in-fresh-sea-water 1 lb lobster (w/ Lay's chips) for $12.99! Ask 4 female, if u love roe! Ok crab meat rolls & lobster rolls. Expect waits!

Average 15-hole mini-golf for $8/adult but awesome ice cream shop run by same family for ~30 yrs! Love the Frozen Pudding (rum raisin ice cream w/ bits of dried fruit) & the Red Raspberry Swirl. ;9

Loved our stay last yr here & coming back again for the proximity to downtown Portland & harbour shops, bars & restaurants. Shuttle service around town is an added perk! :)
Maybe I've been spoiled by the many great sushi joints (eg. Yasuda, Gari, 15 East, etc) in NYC but I wasn't wow'ed here. "Creative" rolls & dishes were overly-mayo'ed or sauced + there was no uni.
More of a traditional Maine lobster roll. For DT Portland, itโs decent but pales in comparison to the MANY great 1's @ roadside lobster shacks outside town, where you'll get more bang for your $!
Lobster Bisque has lumps & not enuff sherry. Crabmeat Roll wasnโt fresh. Thanks MLS for taking it off our bill & comp'ing us a lobster roll, to make amends. But best NE seafood is still outside town!
If ur salt-sensitive, Tot-tines arenโt 4 U but tots (alone) are g8! Come EARLY, if U donโt want LONG waits, drunken 20-smthgโs & fights breaking out. Tonite, chef stopped cooking 2x to escort ppl out

Follow painted lobsters to Lobster Pound (only 4 steamed lobsters, clams & soups). Skip Soups-watery & lacking in taste. Great steamed Littlenecks + lobsters but wish U got ur pick of M or F lobster.
