The best pork chop they used to have as a signature menu is now called 'Lemongrass Pork Shoulder' and the number is 44 on the menu. Still awesome.
Of the few bahn mi I've had this was the best - perfectly roasted pork, mostly lean but charred fatty ends packed w flavor. The marinade, chili mayo, and sriracha coupled to make the perfect dressing.
Amazing fast fresh food. Pho is the best around and the tea is fab. I had to take some of the food home, which I normally don't do with pho. Pork ribs look amazing
Like Viet pho joints in LA-most phenomenol pho (Viet beef soup noodle) I've tasted on E coast! I recommend squeezing some lime in the broth. Cha gio (spring, not Summer rolls) are damn good too!
Not cheapest compared to others in C'Town but ingredients & tastes are fresh, clean & pretty authentic..making this Vietnamese the best pho, Cha gio, Grilled Pork Chops, & banh mi place in NYC!
Vietnamese pork chop (Suon Nuong) was prepared well in ample portion. Food here is less salty than other Vietnamese places, so I was very satisfied with it.
VERY BAD customer svc-Over 1-hr delivery & when we called, woman on phone wasn't apologetic & said that we're gonna have to wait anthr hr or she'll cancel our order. We're HANGRY!!!!
My new fave dish- Beef Stew w/ star anise, carrots, & daikon- just like Mom makes it! ;9
Although I love the Pho, it's inconsistent. Noodles were perfect on 1st try & too soft & overcooked on 2nd but broth was heavenly. Don't bother ordering Banh mi (sammies)-they totally skimp on meat!
Van's (in Albany) & this sibling serve up THE BEST Viet fare on E. Coast: beef noodle soup, Viet spring rolls, & grilled pork are my faves!
A Viet-Thai place where you can get just ok pho & Viet spring rolls. It's been 2yrs since I've been back & now no menu w/ Taiwanese dishes, shaved ice, & XLB (Shanghainese crabmeat soup dumplings) :(
Get the Beef cubes w/ rice! ๐ Cha gio would taste so much better w/ the blistery wrapper.
Not best in NYC but decent Viet food & BEST SOUP NOODLE FOR WHEN UR SICK ON UES! Get Pork & Shrimp Wonton Ckn Broth Noodle, Cha Gio Thit, Bo Loc Lac, Cha Ram, Ckn or Beef Banh Mi & Shrimp Chips
So VERY sad to learn of upcoming 8/1/20 closing..NYC's best Cambodian dishes: Khymer fish cake, Shrimp & Crabmeat Spring Roll, Loc Lac, Kuythiew Cha Noodle + Khymer Sweet & Sour Soup. NYC will miss U!
Pho Ga's 1 of my fave Ckn Noodle Soup go-to's when sick..esp w/ creative Chinese-influenced Ginger Scallion sauce. Grilled Pork Chop, Mango & Beets Summer Roll & Cha Gio all good. Ask 4 xtra Nuoc Cham
