Excellent, tattoo-friendly onsen. Great way of getting to know onsens, staff is friendly and helpful. Several pools, indoor-outdoor, hot-cold and 3 steam rooms too. Go early to avoid crowds.

Nice ramen place, English menu. Staff a bit weird but service is quick. They have a basic option of the ramens which doesn’t include the egg and the seaweed, go for the extras! Good gyoza.
Great smoky little joint with authentic okonomiyaki. Go inside and write your name on the list. They also serve negiyaki, a leek-based okonomiyaki. The kimchi-bacon one is really good!
Very nice “hole in the wall” okinomiyaki place. Hugely popular, go at off hours or expect to stand in line. Nice service, cheap, English menu.
They only have one dish with everything (it can be customized). It’s big, it’s tasty, it’s exactly what you need. Think comfort food and weird but fin deco. Recommended.

Nice decor and friendly staff. Pizza is best in town but quite expensive and you’ll possibly have to wait 35-45 minutes to get it (oven is too small).
Very cool place, no drink menu, just tell the bartender what you like, he’ll do it for you! It does get busy, so book ahead. Not a posh place but quality drinks.
Overall quite good ramen, however way too salty and poor choice of toppings, hard-boiled egg not authentic, no bamboo shoot or nori sheet offered.

Don’t listen to the critics THIS is the best place for espresso in Rome. You have to tell them if you don’t want sugar in it. Crema is huge, coffee addictive.
Amazing pizza, go for the simple margherita. Skip the coffee it’s overpriced and watery.
