It's an old railroad bridge they turned into a pedestrian footbridge. It's gets cold and windy especially over the river so dress accordingly.

Mountain that straddles Beacon & Cold Spring. The hike towards the first of the four scenic outlook requires you to do a rock scramble. Make sure to bring a lot of water and snacks as well as gloves.

The path around the lake offers great views and takes less than an hour. Be sure to check out the views of Hudson Valley from the south end of the lake.
