$20 for a bottle of wine is an amazing deal. Extremely cute place. Also, they let you work with your laptop during day and at night (when it's not crowded). They have wifi.
Eggs in tomato sauce and the Cacio e Pepe. For something less heavy the farro rocket salad does the trick. Don't complicated w lattes- stick to a French press, dry cappuccino, or loose leaf tea .
My favorite place in the West Village for breakfast/lunch meetings and to sit in to do work. Outlets and free wifi, and tasty food. Get the pancakes!!!
The perfect local spot on a gorgeous street. The window seats are great for watching the world go by. If you need to get some work done the WiFi is one of the fastest around
Get the French press to share with your dining companion. Chicken and potato hash is the breakfast winner. Plenty spacious for when other options are packed
My new fav hidden gem. Quintessential west village. All locals. Great espresso, good wine deals. Perfect for working offsite. Fast wifi. Amazing staff.
A sleek yet warm place to sip espresso. They do get crowded during lunch. A wine bar at night with some good wines as well! I think they have Wifi but check their website to be sure.
Great spot to work from (free wifi, not pushy) but no heat, so frigid this winter. Order the French press if you're going to have a few cups of coffee.
I had the salmon pizza. Remember: it's ok to eat salmon, since bears eat it too, but not cool to eat other meat, even though bears might eat those as well.
Cafe Minerva does a nice job on back to basics roasted chicken. Vintage b/w photos add to the airy cafe's ambience. If you ask for a bread basket, be ready for a charge ($2.50). Surprising, that.
A good selection of $20 bottle wine. Pretty decent panini and pasta dishes. open kitchen and resulting smokey atmosphere is the only downside. Not so bad in the summer when windows are open
They got the kitchen going this week, looks good. Great zinc bar. The barista girl with the star tattoos is quite excellent (steaming the milk to a pretty exact 140 degrees).
I go here for the $20 bottles of wine. Just got the orichiette and it was bland and pretty bad. Friend had a prosciutto panini, which was better. Will stick to drinks in future.
Set your home address on your GPS to be something near your home but not your actual address. That way if someone steals your GPS, they won't also know where you live.
A welcoming place during the day to come in and do work. Free wifi, no nasty looks -- but be reasonable and order food if you're ganna be there a while
