Visiting the Brooklyn boardwalk, eating a Nathan’shot dog, riding the Thunderbolt rollercoaster in Luna Park, & carving out a spot on the beach is still an everyone-should-try-it New York experience. 자세히 보기
One of those rare are the places in NYC where you can let your pup sink their paws in the sand while taking in the ocean breeze throughout the year. Treat him to a Nathan's famous hot dogs after!
There's few places as quintessential Brooklyn as Coney Island. Big personalities, great food (Nathan's, Totonno's) & amusements (Cyclone & the Cyclones) on the Atlantic make this one-of-a-kind BK.
Free entries to Coney Island and Luna park, only paying for the rides. Multiple 'famous' restaurants for hot dogs & fries. And the beach and boardwalk just out front is also a popular destination.
Honestly, a very fun place to walk around and take it all in, walk the nice boardwalk, just re done not to long ago and enjoy the rides and the food. You will def not be let down it regards to fun!
A great sand beach in NY. It's crowded but still good. Great place to have lunch, and it is right by the adventure park. There's also a store that sells all beach items (towels, sunglasses, toys..)
The boardwalk is free to access. Expect large crowds, but definitely worth a stroll in the summer. There is always something going on! Make sure to grab a Nathans Famous hot dog or lobster roll.
It isn't the nicest beach, it's because it's New York. Home of the best known amusement park. A lot of interesting things happen along the Boardwalk. You can't just visit once
Take a break from the concrete jungle at this much improved beach and interesting boardwalk. Get a Nathan's Hot Dog, Shoot the Freak, down a beer or just walk. It's our favorite nearby escape.
Coney Island est absolument à faire. On y est rester une journée complète pour profiter de la mer, la mermaid parade, la promenade, les hot-dogs de Nathans, les attractions.
Enjoy the famous amusements, boardwalk and "freak show" at Coney Island, which is the original home of Nathan's Hot Dogs. There is something for beachgoers of all ages. Read more at MetroFocus. 자세히 보기
Street eats are always a fav. Try to steer clear of the modern take out fair I.e. Popeyes etc. grab a snack from the boardwalk or get that world Famous Nathan dog
Although it might seem like this place has seen its best years, its still a great spot! Especially in summer season the place literally lights up: you can see brilliant fireworks here on Friday night!
Checked out the Coney Islandart walls this weekend. Combined with Smorgasburg food vendors serving it up in pastel-painted corrugated containers, THIS will be the hot spot of the summer
It is a must go during the summer in NYC. They have a Grimaldi's close to the subway and lines are smaller than in Dumbo branch. And Nathan's Famous hot dog. Rides and Attractions are a biy pricey.
awesome rides and an amazing amusement park to go to in the summer with your friends and it's worth your money and really fun and cool so everyone should go there
I love this beach and boardwalk! So fun and so nice to walk on the boardwalk and watch all the interesting people...and take pictures. I loved it here and can't wait to come back one day!
It's the easiest beach to get to from the city but boy, is at its capacity and more during the summer weekends. It's better to spend a few bucks and time to go to a better beach in Long Island.
Ride the cyclone, it's more fun than most wooden roller coasters. The Ferris wheel has a great view too. Lots of good people watching on the boardwalk. Don't forget to stop at Nathan's.
come early in the day, before it gets hot, if you want to get a prime spot. you can also exit the subway one stop early to avoid a big rush of people; it's seriously a 5 minute difference in walking.
FREE ACTIVITIES at Coney Island: Fireworks - every Friday night starting in June. Movies - Monday nights on the beach starting in July. Concerts - Thursday nights at 21st and Surf starting in July.
Carnivalesque boardwalk and (not a very nice) beach. Good for people watching all of the weirdos and wandering around. Take a ride on the ferris wheel and eat fried dough with sugar or a hot dog.
Take the Q train from mid town Manhattan for scenic views over the Manhattan Bridge. After the Prospect Park station the train travels outside in an open cut or on embankment then, nice ocean views!
Make sure to walk the boardwalk! Sometimes they will have music also visit the Merry Go Round located on the boardwalk...old timers yes it use to be located on Coney Island last stop by the train exit
Nice walk along the boardwalk, not a big beach day but lots of fresh area. You can listen to all the activity as people scream from some of the roller coasters.
Loads to do with the family. A strange mix of touristy stuff and local flair. I really enjoyed it, so did the family. Now the beach is not the cleanest but if u r not super posh u won't die😜
Not only do you have the option of enjoying the boardwalk filled with vendors or enjoying the thrilling rides, you can relax and soak in the sun along this beach!
The boardwalk is very nice. Lots of parks and rides to go, plus you have a view of the ocean. However, don't go wondering around the neighborhood's behind the boardwalk, they're not safe!
Spend your Sunday at the Coney IslandReggaeBeach Party. Dance to great music while you enjoy the last few days of warm summer weather. Sun, 8/31, 4pm, free. 자세히 보기
