- Drunken History8월 22, 2012Step "down" into a bar that has more historical items than some museums, sit at the table Jack London wrote literary legend "Call of the Wild" and do it all while enjoying a cold beer or a cocktail.
- Alex Tenette9월 20, 2013Nice little dive bar with some history. Very friendly bartenders and the bar table is very unique. Great spot for warm days, just get your beer and hangout outside.

Just the historical aspect is beyond imagination! Gas lighting, slanting floor due to foundation settling, and tiny!!!

So much history here. It's been open since 1883. I'm probably sitting where Jack London wrote Call of the Wild. You have to go here.
Michelle L7월 7, 2013The most crooked bar in California! The floor and bar slant downward. The slanting is due to damage from the 1906 quake. They just didn't fix it! This place is small, quiet and intimate.
Brett Johnson11월 7, 2011Small and cozy, full of atmosphere from back in the day. Watch out for the floor when you step in! Inside and outside seating, I suggest outside as there are few spots inside due to the size.
If you're sitting at the bar, take a look down. Your footrest used to be a complete pipe. It's been worn down to what you see from almost 150 years of feet resting there.

Bring your dog and sit on the patio or just bring your puppy over for a sip of water at the light post.
