More than any other French bistro in the area, this chatty room on Capitol Hill makes us feel like we’re in Paris. What to get: Mussels with pastis; country pâté; veal tongue with sauce gribiche.

Perfect for an unpretentious yet romantic date that won't break the bank. Most entrees are 20-25 but after one bite you will know you should be paying double that for food this good.

Delicious brunch in Eastern Market. The galette bretonne was amazing (buckwheat crepe with ham, egg, Swiss, spinach and tomato)

A wonderful, unpretentious French restaurant, with great service. Save room for the chocolate mousse - it's out of this world!

It looks like it's under construction but the restaurant is open and not impacted which makes it a perfect time for dinner at this normally packed, delicious, authentic French restaurant

The rabbit was great! It's heavy, though, so you gotta be prepared to eat. Save some bread to mop up the sauce!
