    They'll make cochinita pibil - slow roasted pork - even if its not on the current week's menu. Comes with tasty black beans, spicy salsa, and home made tortillas, not to mention the great meat!

    If you want authentic Mexican food. This is the place. Amazing freshly made tortillas served warm with chichirinas, head cheese (like abeulito used to eat) with pickled carrots and jalapeño. Go!

    Exceptional dining experience in the Mission, starting with a pitcher of margaritas with freshly made guac and chips. Our main dishes were delicious and inventive. Not your typical Mexican place!

    The pollo tinga is awesome. Try it! Fresh juicy flavorful chicken atop a base of avocado and Serrano with a chipotle and tomato broth. With fresh hot tortillas. Yum!!!

    Consider the back patio: covered from the sun or the cold of SF nights, a view of a great jungle-esque garden, and a large communal table.

    Top notch Mexican sit-down on Valencia, the quirkiest street in the Mission. Pretty much everything on the menu tastes extremely fresh, bursting with spices & flavor.

    The fish tacos were pretty solid, if a bit overpriced. We didn't love the carnitas, which were surprisingly dry.
