I went here alone while I was visiting Chicago. It has a very good ambiance, the people were very nice and the bartenders were always fast and helpful. The staff is great and the music was pretty good

Fantastic brunch here. Get the Bloody Mary bar, it's a meal in itself and the best I've seen in Chicago (beef jerky, yes please). I recommend the Stout Omelet & Nutella pancakes for a glorious meal.

The burger is the bomb (kinda pricey ($15) but seriously delicious). Get the smoked Mac and cheese too. The Brave Companion cocktail is a must for a whiskey fan

Avoid the Chicken Pot Pie. The name is misleading - there's no semblance to any pie I've ever had. No pastry, tiny portion, watery broth, little flavor. Doesn't even work as a soup. All in all, yuck.
