    The best Wiener schnitzel in NYC served in an elegant yet understated West Village dining room. Unpretentious yet very sophisticated and best of all excellent food up and down the menu.

    Always consistently fabulous. The new scallop cheviche was extraordinary, the chicken and beef dishes both delicious. The wine pairings were perfect. James very knowledgeable.

    High end Austrian dining in the heart of the West Village. All dishes nicely executed. Excellent tartare. Schnitzel is a can’t miss. Try the desserts. Dining room so comfy, you’ll feel right at home.

    Loved: first white on menu, oysters, pretzel, cod. Brady had the lobster. Phenomenal food and service. We also had the (sp?) spatzel which had an alfredo like sauce.

    Best Schnitzel I've had in NYC. Wonderful people, nice vibe. Skip the sweetbread ravioli, they're a bit too soggy. Overall though - definitely worth a visit.

    The beet and grape appetizer is perfect. The spaetzel with rabbit is very nice. All the wines are wonderful. Joseph is wonderful. The cod was just ok

    Chef Kurt Gutenbrunner does Austria proud with Wallse. The oxtail goulash was the best we’ve had in the city, and even traditional dishes like the poached Maine lobster are a cut above the rest.

    The salzburger nockerl with huckleberries dessert was to die for. Cod was kind of boring. Great service and great wines
