Must do in Wellington. You will probably walk down through the Botanical Gardens so you won't need a return ticket.
Enjoy views of Cheltenham Beach and Mount Takapuna from North Head which is a 5 minute walk from the Devonport Ferry Terminal.
Head to Pier 3, opposite the Ferry Terminal Building in Auckland's waterfront area. A thrilling way to see the harbour and city sights.
Buy the cone of $7 fish and chips from the stall facing the waterfront site. Corona beer is optional.
The Cathedral Cove walk is STUNNING. Be sure to take a bottle of water as its quite exerting (and theres nothing around).

Blue Water Black Magic - A Tribute to Sir Peter Blake is just that. Magic. There's also fantastic sailings you can do on the Waitemata Harbour in heritage boats.
Great place to relax-if you stay at the holiday park you get a big discount on entry (only $10.50) plus it's a 3mib walk from site to spa resort. Across the road is Woody's bar and grill-great food!

Down to earth staff who make excellent coffee and care about there customers. Superb healthy food options, space invaders and a magnetic word board. Muesli with fruit is TDF. Park in G Courts. AWESOME
