Abingdon has many things to offer locals and out-of-town visitors, but one of their greatest attributes is the food. You can find all kinds of food in this town, all from great locals!

Forget the chain restaurants. You'll get the same burger at home you get down here, so instead visit a locally-owned restaurant. Here is a list of the best in town.

Abingdon, Virginia sits in a perfect location in the Appalachian Mountains of Southwest Virginia for hiking, jogging, bicycling, and playing outside, all within an easy hour drive.

"Travel Tip: For the best footlong hotdog in town, visit Peaches Corner. They are actually one year older than the city of Myrtle Beach and still locally-owned!"
