Marjahn G. • 4월 7, 2023The steak and sushi rolls were amazing! Also, we had the Hawaiian dessert with red beans and it was amazing - highly recommend for tourist Waikiki
Quinton M. • 12월 19, 2012I wish I could have had everything on the menu, but from what I tried, my must haves include: Tontoro Katsu (pork cheek), bukkake udon (cold udon), oxtail soup, and the unagi chirashi donburi.
sohail • 5월 4, 2018Very unassuming spot with an excellent selection of meats/chicken/seafood. Chill, laidback vibe and the food was great! I had the ahi katsu. Popular dishes run out by early afternoon.
nai n. • 4월 15, 2012kushiyaki from the friday/saturday izakaya menu: in dish, oysters. also, chicken (foreground) & quail eggs.

Rafal S. • 8월 18, 2016Kevin, the owner is awesome. He is definitely the heart and the souls of this place. The broth is delicious, the fixings are plentiful and you select them buffet style, so you only pick good stuff
Christina • 6월 12, 2017Every component of a meal here is mindfully, carefully prepared and pieced together to make the whole experience so satisfying. You can't go wrong with a katsu set - get the mix to taste them all.
Rob G. • 9월 13, 2011Love the Salmon with Maui Onion. One of my favorite late night happy hour places. Happy hour after 10:30pm with good size bentos, delicious appetiers, and Kirin on tap! Definitely addicting!
Jason H. • 11월 29, 2019Back again - still one of the best omakase dinners in the US. Everything is excellent. It’s creative. Just be prepared for sticker shock after you indulge. But it’s worth it!
Choak O. • 9월 24, 2011Try the shiitake tsukuneya, daikon salad, tebasaki, miso tofu & uni kamameshi :)
Sandra C. • 10월 26, 2011Coming here for Japanese breakfast is a highlight of our trips to Hawaii. Excellent food & more affordable than dinner.
Brian L. • 10월 12, 2016All the food including the musubie are fantastic :-)
Best of Hawaii L. • 6월 7, 2015Great Nabe and Shabu Shabu in the same Place. B.Y.O.B is plus. Don't forget to take the left over soup and add rice to it at home.
👑 @coryjim . • 5월 7, 2012In order to get the "Special Bentos" it is a 10 order minimum A week in advance. : )
Jairus K. • 1월 16, 2013Definitely come here for any of their happy hours, everything is dirt cheap. And try the Gyu-Kaku nachos, an awesome spin on regular nachos; the ahi & avocado compliment well with the sauce.
