Katie M. • 3월 29, 2011The whole exhibit is amazing but be sure to check out the tar pit demo/replica in addition to admiring the elephants. Fascinating historical stuff!
San Diego Zoo • 5월 20, 2011We received our 1st koalas as a gift from Australia in 1925. These fuzzy marsupials are not bears, and not as cuddly as you think. They're actually independent, feisty, and often grumpy.
Emily T. • 12월 29, 2018Food and atmosphere are great! We came too early for the free live music in the bar/restaurant but can’t wait to go back again, for more amazing drinks and southern food. You should definitely Go!!!
San Diego Zoo • 5월 20, 2011The Zoo’s adult male giraffe, Silver, is more than 17 feet tall. With such a long neck, it’s surprising that giraffes have the same number of vertebrae that we do—each one is just much bigger!
Katie M. • 3월 29, 2011Fantastically designed exhibit with multiple places to watch the gorillas from. Such a lively bunch.
Miriam G. • 8월 13, 2014The hippos both hang out together in the armpit of the underwater section of the enclosure. Great for a selfie with the beast!
K K. • 8월 19, 2014Beautiful outdoor setting with excellent pipe organ concerts on Sunday afternoons and, in the summer, on Monday evenings.
Olympia B. • 4월 10, 2013The Arlo Guthrie concert was WONDERFUL. The venue was beautiful, cozy, perfect for a folk performer. Will definitely be back.
Chacho H. • 11월 15, 2011Amazing jewelry, great art books (some say the best selection in San Diego), and a superb gift selection. Not a bad place to drop some cash.
K12 Inc • 7월 6, 2011Did you know? Founded in 1874, the San Diego Society of Natural History is the oldest scientific institution in southern California, and the third oldest west of the Mississippi.
Cherie D. • 7월 20, 2010Bring a push cart, the art, hand-made clothing, blown-glass and woodwork was phenomenal. I highly recommend this center full of artisans.
San Diego Zoo • 5월 20, 2011Tigers each have their own unique stripe pattern, like our fingerprints. A tiger’s claws can be up to five inches long, and they use them to mark their territory with scratches on trees.
San Diego Zoo • 5월 22, 2011The Lost Forest is home to a wide variety of animals, including our bonobos. Bonobos were not identified by scientists until 1926. Before that, they were thought to be another type of common chimp.
Jase L. • 7월 3, 2016I absolutely loved this place. The front area had great food and tailgating games. The line dancing was a little crowded with non-dancers so was ok, and later transitioned to just standing room only.
