Toni Schmitz3월 30, 2017Bester Flughafen Deutschlands. Vor allem, weil er mitten in der Stadt liegt. Wer etwas laufen kann, kann in der Umgebung parken und wird nicht mit unmöglichen Parkgebühren abgezockt.
До Гамбурга можно доехать на метро прямо из аэропорта 👍🏻 также в здании аэропорта, около спуска в метро, есть продуктовый магазин, это полезно, так как в Германии магазины закрываются с 20-22 👆🏻

Im Idealfall mit der S-Bahn anreisen. Kostet kaum was, ist schnell und bequem. Steigt man in die S-Bahn ist man quasi am Airport.
Oğuz A.6월 4, 2018Clean and spacious. Not many eateries before check in (only McDonalds at the third floor). Shops and duty free really weak. Air conditioning is struggling with high number of passengers.
If you want to have a small snack, head to the bakery near the Edeka that you see right near the entrance to the S-Bahn station near Terminal 2

Übersichtlicher Flughafen mit vielen Angeboten. Sicherheitskontrolle geht schnell und das Gate erreicht man in maximal 15 Minuten.

Quite compact, even at 5:30 with long lines of business travelers it takes 15-20 min to go from the entrance to the duty free behind the security checks, if you don't have check-in luggage

Always look for the flight number when searching for your gate. For example, there are two simultaneous flights to Stuttgart at 8:30. Could be very stressful to run through the whole airport.
Nach dem Check-In in die obere Etage gehen und bei Gosch Fisch essen. Dabei die Aussicht genießen.
Try the restaurants on second floor if you fancy to eat something good. Marche bakery surprised me! Fresh and tasty, unlike everything on first floor.

Busy airport in Hamburg. Make sure you have enough time to get through security - gets very busy at peak times.

Backery next to Edeka is great. Good coffee and surprisingly reasonable prices in comparison with the other cafes at the airport. Perfect for early morning flights!

Hamburg Airport was opened in January 1911, making it the oldest airport in the world still in operation. In November 2016 it was named after former senator of Hamburg and chancellor of Germany, Helmut Schmidt. It is the fifth-busiest airport in Germany with 17.3 million passengers in 2019.
