Offered daily, discover a selection of four limited release wines that embrace the unique characteristics of our Quail Hill Vineyard and other single vineyard wines. This casual tasting format can be enjoyed at the bar or while exploring the nearby culinary and flower gardens just outside our Tasting Room. Allow 40 minutes for visit. With a selection of six limited release wines, this purely wine-focused experience explores the subtleties of our Russian River Valley Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Allow 90 minutes for visit. Expressions of pineapple, white flowers, and lychee are immediately present on the nose with bright and fresh acidity careening towards the back palate, carrying tones of nectarine, mango, and grapefruit.

The monastery‏ chardonnay exhibits a luminous pale straw color and combines an old world feel with california intensity.

The wines forward aromatics include cranberry, Bing cherry, and red apple skin. The mid-palate is juicy and highlighted by raspberries, dried herbs, and forest floor. The finish is defined by firm tannins with notes of black tea, strawberry, and green peppercorns.

The 2011‏ freestone pinot noir is lively and layered with black tea, elderberry, and bay leaf. Taught tannins and sensuous acidity intermingle with a finish of cola, asian spice, and currant. Enjoy now or cellar until 2018.

The 2008‏ reserve cuvée syrah is driven by aromas of dark cherries and blackberries with hints of fresh mint and dark chocolate. The mouth is masculine, with a lot of tannins and soft structure. Acidity and sweetness are in perfect balance for enjoyment.

Distinct aromatics of raspberry, cherry cola and sandalwood lead into a firm mid-palate, accentuated by layers of blackberry, plum, and nutmeg. Soft tannins elongate a finish of dried herbs, rose petal, and strawberry.
